Worship Arts Ministry

Vocalists and instrumentalists are encouraged to explore and use their gifts in worship to our Lord through a number of opportunities. From the smallest of children to the most "mature" adults — all are welcome.

Praise! Band

"There's something about God's word put into song that simply digs right in and finds a home in my soul, especially when I'm called upon to sing it. Because of Praise Band I've made lifelong friends (brothers and sisters really), had some amazing music-making experiences, actually composed few tunes, and have become a better musician overall." Beth R.

The Praise! Band leads worship once a month. There are two teams that rehearse on either Monday or Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm Open to high school students through adults by audition.

Adult Choir - Voices of Peace

Rehearsing on St. Patty's Day

Rehearsing on St. Patty's Day

"It is really about singing with a group of people who love to sing. These 'Voices of Peace' encourage one another, they share an occasional heartbreak and we share in prayer."  Jim M.

"The last few years I have been trying to find a part of me that's more than just a wife and mother...but I wasn't quite sure where I fit...after this weekend, I finally know where I belong. I might not be the best singer in the bunch, but I would most certainly like to continue." Michelle M.

"I came to choir more than a little reluctant and terrified. I came to give it a try and now can't picture myself not being at a Thursday night with the rest of the Voices of Peace....Thanks to the patience and coaching of Kathryn, Kris and Kerry I was welcomed and nurtured. The entire group made it easy to fit in." Cathy M.

The adult choir, a.k.a. the Voices of Peace, leads worship and special services throughout the year, singing music from a variety of styles and periods. Rehearsals are scheduled in blocks of five to eight weeks on Thursday evenings from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

Open to high school students through adults.
